Five years of firsts, documented on-chain.

Teams come and go. Projects fold. FRAKT's place in Solana history was written in the summer of 2021. Nothing can unwrite it.

The mint

FRAKT launches at 0.5 SOL: the fourth mint ever on Solana, and the very first generative art collection. Each of the 10,000 fractals is computed from unique parameters stored on-chain.

More firsts

FRAKT becomes the first collection to launch staking on Solana, then the first team to execute an NFT fractionalization, live on stage at the first Breakpoint in Lisbon.

2022 – 2024

The team moves on. The art stays.

The builders merge Pawnshop Gnomies, mint Banx, and rebrand. FRAKT relaunches with zero royalties in June 2024, fully circulating and community-owned.

The final chapter: permanence

Every FRAKT's art is now inscribed into Solana's ledger, written 27 July 2026 and sealed 31 July 2026, and the 2048px masters are archived on Arweave. What remains is a pristine, fully on-chain collectible that needs no one. Not even us.

02 · Why inscribe
Most NFT art lives on a link. Links rot. FRAKT nearly learned that the hard way.

In 2024, an audit revealed that many of FRAKT's original image files had quietly become unreachable: storage transactions that never settled, masked for years by caches. The art survived in copies and in the on-chain generator parameters. "Almost lost" is no standard for a genesis collection.

Inscription ends the question permanently, with two independent layers:

01
On-chain inscription · Solana

The art itself, written into Solana account data via Metaplex Inscriptions, then sealed immutable. Replicated by every validator. As durable as the chain.

02
HD master · Arweave

A 2048px master archived on the permaweb. Paid once, stored for centuries by protocol design.

03 · The generator

Not a stored image. A computation.

Every frakt is derived from a few integers in its on-chain art account, plus the account's public key, the seed of the random stream. The renderer below runs that exact 2021 algorithm, live, in your browser. No image file is loaded.

of the collection was handed in by its own holders during the Banx conversion: 2,215 frakts, still sitting where they were sent.

That tower in the middle of the chart isn't a trading frenzy, and it isn't the team gathering up its own inventory. It is the Banx conversion. From June 2023, a frakt could be sent in to mint Banx, the team's follow-up project, and 2,215 frakts were sent in that way, by 380 different wallets. Every one of them is a mint transaction signed by the holder who gave the frakt up: 1,774 in June 2023, the rest trailing off through December. Some wallets sent one; the largest sent 241.

A year later, between 7 and 11 June 2024, all 2,215 were forwarded out of the mint wallet into the two addresses below, and neither has released a single one since. That forwarding is the movement the chart can see, which is why the tower stands over June 2024 rather than over the conversion that actually produced it:

Whatever the first address is named, nothing was ever burned: all 2,215 tokens still exist, intact, at those two addresses. That wallet has been quiet since April 2025, its last signed transaction. A former team member says its private key was lost when the machine holding it was wiped; we cannot verify that, and a lost key cannot be proven lost, so we make no claim that those 2,034 frakts are burned, locked, or out of circulation. They stay in every figure on this site: 10,000 minted, 9,904 alive today, rarity computed against the original 10,000.

07 · The inscription

Your art, written into Solana itself. Forever.

You don't need to do anything. Nothing to sign, nothing to pay, no deadline. All 10,000 frakts are included automatically.

The problem this solves

Almost every NFT shares a hidden weakness: the token is on-chain, but the image sits on some company's server, and the token just points at it. If that server goes away, the art goes with it. FRAKT holders know this isn't a theory.

What was done about it

A frakt was never really a picture file. In 2021, Solana recorded a short list of numbers, and a small program turned them into your artwork every time you looked. A recipe and its ingredients, not a photograph of the finished dish.

The picture files were lost over the years. The numbers never were. The recipe was rebuilt, the original 2021 source was recovered, and the collection now redraws exactly, at any size you like.

That recipe has now been written permanently into the Solana blockchain itself:

1.

The generator program

The code that draws every frakt, with a plain-written spec so it can be rebuilt decades from now.

2.

The ledger of all 10,000

One entry per frakt: its original numbers and a digital fingerprint of the artwork. A birth certificate.

3.

No frakt left behind

Every family, every edge case, every early mint. 10,000 of 10,000 in the ledger: none skipped, none partial.

Sealed. Permanently.

Writes are forbidden, foreverThe seal is a one-way switch inside the inscription program itself: once flipped, it refuses every edit and every delete — even from the key that did the writing. Not the team, not anyone, ever.
"Immutable: YES"The same permanent seal pioneered by SMB Gen2, the state marketplaces read and display. Applied 31 July 2026; explorers now read yes.
Tested by attackTest inscriptions were sealed, then broken into five different ways, even with the key that made them. Every attempt failed.

Where it lives

Everything written into Solana has a public address: a safe-deposit box number anyone in the world can look inside, forever. Tap one and it opens in Solana Explorer, a public window the team neither runs nor can touch. What you see there is not a copy on this site. It is the artifact.

10 · Questions

Asked & answered.

Do I inscribe my frakt myself?

No. Nobody does. All 10,000 frakts were inscribed by the team in a single funded act (≈ 7 SOL for the whole collection, paid on 27 July 2026). Every frakt was included automatically: nothing to sign, nothing to pay, no window to miss.

What is an "inscription"?

Writing data directly into the Solana blockchain itself, where it is copied across thousands of computers worldwide and can never be taken down. The difference between engraving something in stone and framing a note that says where the picture is kept.

What exactly are you inscribing?

Two things, at four addresses. The generator: the program that draws every frakt from its original 2021 numbers, inscribed three ways: readable code with a plain-written spec, an exact build that draws pixel-identically on any machine, and that build's own source. And the ledger: one entry per frakt with its numbers and a fingerprint of its artwork, all 10,000. The addresses are published.

Why not just store all 10,000 images?

Because a frakt isn't fundamentally an image: it's a program's output, and that program was recovered. Inscribing the recipe preserves more than pictures would (the actual algorithm, your frakt at any size, a proof for each one) at a fraction of the cost of storing 10,000 images on-chain.

Will my frakt look different on Magic Eden or Tensor?

No. Marketplaces will keep showing your frakt exactly as they do today. The inscription is the permanence layer underneath: if every server, company, and team member disappeared tomorrow, the entire collection could be rebuilt from Solana alone.

How rare is my frakt?

Five families: Nets 44%, Portals 30%, Stars 20%, Eyes 5%, Waves 1%. Four palettes: White 40%, Orange 30%, Red 20%, Magenta 10%. The odds multiply: a Magenta Wave is 1% of 10%, so only 10 exist across all 10,000. The tiers were designed into the generator in 2021; the full family × palette table is in the gallery.

Where is the artwork actually stored?

In two independent places. On Solana itself: public, permanent storage replicated by every computer that runs the network (the Inscription page lists the exact addresses; tap one and you're looking at the real thing, not a copy on this site). And on Arweave: each frakt's 2048px HD master lives on the permaweb, a storage network built to keep files for centuries from a single one-time payment.

Can it be changed or deleted later?

No. Writing happened on 27 July 2026 and the seal was applied on 31 July 2026: a built-in, one-way feature of Solana inscriptions — the same permanent seal SMB Gen2 used — after which the inscription program refuses every write, even from the key that created the data. Each seal is a public transaction, listed with the artifact addresses on the Inscription page. It was rehearsed first: sealed test inscriptions were attacked five different ways, including with the key that created them. After the real sealing on 31 July, the same 16-attack battery ran against all four mainnet artifacts. Every attempt failed; the data was untouched.

Does anything happen to my frakt's current images?

Nothing is destroyed or replaced. Originals stay preserved, today's marketplace image keeps working, and the HD masters continue to be archived on Arweave. The inscription adds a deeper layer. It takes nothing away.

Are all 10,000 really covered?

Yes: 10,000 rows, 10,000 frakts. The generator recreates the collection perfectly, Waves included: the original 2021 wave code was recovered and reproduces them exactly, which is why no family needed a fallback. Every early-mint edge case is in there too, each row carrying a fingerprint of the exact artwork so any redraw can be checked against it.

Are there royalties on sales?

No. Royalties are 0%, written that way on-chain: every frakt carries a seller fee of zero basis points, so nothing is taken from any sale, on any marketplace, ever. FRAKT has been royalty-free since the June 2024 relaunch, and the inscription work is funded by the team, not by a fee on holders.

What happens after the inscription?

Once inscription and the permanent image-hosting migration are complete, the metadata will be frozen too, leaving FRAKT a pristine, immutable, fully on-chain collectible that depends on no team, no server, no company. Not even the one that made it.
